Emerald games and activities

Make your mark

Each child gets to design their own unique t-shirt that they can take home after the party. Add pictures, patterns or the names of their friends - it’s their choice.

Eye-eye captain

Get the chocolate coins from your eye into your mouth as fast as possible without touching it!

Mover shaker : Energetic and fun

Two children wear a box filled with marbles on their backs and they have to jiggle and wiggle to get them out. The other children have to catch the marbles.

Artist in the dark

In teams, one child at a time is blindfolded and given a pencil and paper and the other children are given a picture that they must describe to the blindfolded child to draw.  After the game is over the children get to compare the original picture with the one created by the blindfolded team member…. will they look the same ?

How low can you go ?

Children stand in a circle with a box in the middle. The aim of the game is to pick up the box with their mouth. Each round the box gets smaller as a chunk is cut off the top and they have to stretch further to pick it up. Who can still pick it up when there’s only a sliver of cardboard left?

Wrap me up!

Each team picks a famous name from the bag of names provided and has to dress one of their team members up as the person/character they picked. It’s against the clock and all they get is a brown paper, tissue paper and coloured tape.

Now you see it : Memory

A bag full of intriguing miniature items that the children need to memorise. Each child gets to remove one item and let the rest of the party guests guess which one is missing.
